PURPOSE PERSONAL ASSISTANT

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Personal Assistant who is fluent in French and English and possesses accounting knowledge. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support, manage day-to-day activities, and handle tasks related to financial documentation and reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the executive and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence in both French and English.
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documents.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Process invoices, receipts, and payments in compliance with company policies.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping and reconcile accounts as needed.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • Translate documents and communications accurately between French and English.
  • Act as a liaison with clients, suppliers, and other business partners in both languages.
  • Coordinate meetings and ensure proper follow-ups on action points.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

The ideal candidates must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or a similar role.
  • Experience in accounting or financial tasks is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
  • An understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
