PURPOSE
We are searching for a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our senior leadership team. As a direct report to the CEO, the COO will be instrumental in shaping and executing our business strategy, driving operational excellence, and propelling our company’s continued success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Chief Operating Officer
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and optimised performance.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the company’s strategic plan, driving growth initiatives.
- Risk Management: Implement strategies to mitigate operational and financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Innovation & Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leading process enhancements to boost efficiency and service delivery.
- Financial Oversight: Manage financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring key metrics.
- Tax Strategy Oversight: Oversee tax strategy and planning, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimising tax efficiency, and aligning with overall financial objectives.
- Team Development: Support and develop the leadership team, promoting a positive culture and high performance.
- Client-Centric Approach: Maintain strong client relationships, ensuring operations align with client needs and strategic objectives.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to the CEO and ensure clear communication across the organisation.
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE:
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience, ideally within consulting or HR delivery.
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills, with a track record of growing client bases and revenue.
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive organisational change.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and performance measurement.
- A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and client satisfaction
