PURPOSE

The Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) is responsible for defining and executing the organization’s product and technology vision to drive business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. The role provides strategic leadership over product development, technology infrastructure, digital transformation, and engineering functions, ensuring the delivery of customer-centric solutions that align with business objectives. The CPTO will lead the development of scalable products, foster a culture of innovation, and leverage technology as a key enabler of competitive advantage and long-term organizational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Chief Product and Technology Officer

Product Vision and Strategy

• Define the platform’s architecture and functionality.
• Develop and communicate a product roadmap aligned with company goals

Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of software developers and external tech vendors.
• Foster a collaborative environment to enhance team productivity and motivation.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure that all platform features are developed on schedule and to the highest quality standards.
• Implement testing protocols to validate product functionality and performance.

Technology Oversight

• Own the technology stack and make strategic decisions on technology investments.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the business.

Key Deliverables

The Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) will be accountable for delivering the following outcomes:

1. Quarterly Product Roadmap

• Deliver a comprehensive roadmap at the beginning of each quarter, detailing upcoming features, improvements, and timelines.

2. Team Development Program

• Create and implement training programs for software developers to enhance skill sets, productivity, and career growth.

3. Monthly Performance Reports

• Submit performance reports that analyze development progress, quality metrics, and team efficiency.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct bi-monthly meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and adjust product strategies as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology and product leadership roles.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital products and platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital transformation.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary product and engineering teams.
