We are looking for two Cooks for one of our clients specialized in catering.
PURPOSE
The Cooks are responsible to plan, prepare, and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and following food storage procedures.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the canteen management team and the nutritionist
- Prepare meals in accordance with recipes and food safety standards.
- Manage food stocks and orders.
- Keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic
- Work with the team to develop new menu.
- Manage the receipt and traceability of goods and products.
- Plan orders and replenish stocks.
- Menu service in the self-service line
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Candidates must hold a certificate in hotel management (cookery sector).
- At least 3 years’ previous kitchen experience (as a Cook)
- Holder of a child protection certificate
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Good organizational and planning skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work at weekends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French
