We are looking for a SALES REPRESENTATIVE for one of our clients specialising in the INDUSTRIAL AND AGRICULTURAL SECTOR in Cameroon.

PURPOSE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving growth & sustainable value creation for the segment, through an entrepreneurial mindset. He/She should have a perfect understanding of the industrial structure of the market, and build pipeline opportunities (segments & products) that will drive the success of the activities of our client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business development:
    – Understand the industrial structure of the market, build business plans for new customers
    – Have a perfect understanding of the value creation concept: Value (CM x 4–Receivables –Inventories)
    – Participate in building a pipeline of opportunities (segments & products) that will drive the success of the company in the long term in the region and underbuild these with a business plan.
  • Customer Management: SALES REPRESENTATIVE
    – Develop, optimize, and manage customer portfolios in your segment. Follow up on financial capability (receivables, credit terms, financial statements) and their reach.
    – Participate in transferring market presence into value creation by driving price, volume, receivables and inventories
  • Supply and Inventory Management:
    – Ensure actual and plan future volume through the S&OP cycle based on forecasted sales
  • Competition:
    – Map, assess and understand what competition is doing in Cameroon
    – Anticipate & define actions to counter the competition’s positions/actions
  • Financials:
    – Ensure strict credit policy and receivables management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate must have: SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • Master’s degree in Polymers & Packaging, Paints & Coating
  • >5 years’ experience in sales or marketing in Polymers & Packaging, Paints & Coating
  • Knowledge of the country’s industrial market and Polymers & Packaging, Paints & Coating
  • Familiar with the local players in the industry
  • Knowledge of the global Polymers & Packaging, Paints & Coating
  • Customer-centricity and results-driven
