We are looking for a PLUMBING AND SANITARY SALES AGENT for one of our clients specialized in Whole Sale Marketing.

PURPOSE Plumbing and Sanitary Sales Agent

This role involves providing tailored solutions in the plumbing and sanitary product lines, actively engaging with customers and understanding their needs. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients in the plumbing and sanitary sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES

CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT Plumbing and Sanitary Sales Agent

  • Actively engage with customers to understand their plumbing and sanitary product requirements
  • Provide expert advice and product recommendations based on client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

SALES AND REVENUE GENERATION

  • Meet and exceed sales targets through effective product positioning and promotion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the plumbing and sanitary department.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals with customers. Plumbing and Sanitary Sales Agent

PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of plumbing and sanitary products such as Pipes and Fittings. Show understanding of the various types of pipes (e.g., PVC, copper, PEX) and fittings used in plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with different types of fixtures, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs. Knowledge of installation requirements and compatibility with plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of various sanitary ware products, including toilets, bidets, sinks, and urinals. Awareness of different styles, materials, installation procedures and smart technologies in plumbing
  • Stay updated on industry and market trends, product innovations, competitor offerings, and advancements in the plumbing and sanitary industry through continuous learning and professional development.
  • Conduct product presentations and training sessions for clients and team members.
  • Understanding of proper installation techniques for plumbing and sanitary products. Knowledge of soldering, threading, and gluing methods.

COLLABORATION

  • Work closely with the internal team, including purchasing, marketing, and logistics, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to stay informed about product availability and new releases.
  • Awareness of local and international building codes related to plumbing and sanitary systems. Compliance with regulations for installation and product specifications.
  • Understanding of industry quality standards for plumbing and sanitary products. Knowledge of certifications and testing procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent in plumbing with strong experience in plumbing and sanitary sales.
  • A Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, specifically within the plumbing and sanitary department.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing and sanitary products, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with market trends and competitor offerings.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills (written/spoken) in French & English.
  • Acts responsibly. Can be counted on to keep commitments.
