We are looking for a “People & Culture Administrator” for one of our NGO Client.

PURPOSE  People and Culture

People & Culture Administrator oversee HR administration activities for the Country Office and provide support to HR development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Administration:

  • Manage Onboarding and Offboarding (contract management, registration of incoming and outgoing employees in HRIS “Panda pays; Best Paie” etc).
  • CNPS and insurance management
  • Administer payroll and related processes.
  • Manage employees’ files in a safe, sustainable, and confidential manner, including the digitalization process Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize store security.
  • Assist in the management of outsourced workers.

Recruitment: People and Culture Administrator

  • Support recruitment processes making sure that all requirements are met (staff request forms, Job ad, recruitment strategy, filing) and conduct interviews for support staff/students.
  • Prepare and ensure the update of staff induction kit.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of performance evaluation processes.
  • Support the design of annual training plans.

Reporting:

  • Consolidate weekly recruitment reports.
  • Gather evaluation (AIM) forms and compile Performance & Appraisal annual report.
  • Produces HR monthly statistics and administers the HRIS or staff database; Collaborate with internal departments to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure prompt delivery of products and services.
  • Consolidate data for compensation and benefits surveys.
  • Compute staff related costs.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or related field (social sciences, law, etc.) with at least three-year experience in a similar position in an international organization/company;
  • Knowledge of the institutional, legal and policy framework of employment and HR management in Cameroon;
  • Working experience in an NGO context.
  • Visible and accessible: visible, approachable and available to all employees;
  • Results oriented: Delivers the right thing, on time, with quality and accuracy;
  • Trustworthy: Establishes a relation of trust with employees through openness, adherence to commitments, and maintains confidentiality;
  • Good team work skills;
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office suite. Good command of HR software (Sage, Oracle etc.)
  • Good oral and written skills in English and French;
  • Adhere to the Organization’s values
