Intel Outsourcing Services is currently recruiting a dynamic result driven, highly motivated (MINING,SURVEYING) SENIOR TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER for our client in the Geospatial industry.

PURPOSE SENIOR TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

THIS IS A TECHNICAL ROLE FOR CANDIDATES WITH EXPERIENCE IN MINING, CATOGRAPHY, AND SURVEYING This position offers extensive travel around Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, or Senegal. Ultimately accountable for respective regional sales plans of existing products, technologies, and solutions within specific portfolio as well as maximising business growth & profitability for allocated region/s through the optimal selling of products/solutions built on credible customer relations and partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES SENIOR TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

  • Drive sales performance against set standards / targets.
  • Offer quality solutions to meet customer needs by conducting proper research and addressing the customers pain points. Whilst Developing methods for growth and maintenance of customer base through actively identifying new sales and market opportunities within allocated region/s as well as keeping in contact with loyal/repeat customers.
  • Manage sales channels and partnerships, ensuring effective collaboration and optimal results
  • Ensure continuous development and maintenance of own product knowledge for sales excellence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the mining industry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES

  • Mining Experience – Or Exposure in the Operations of the Mining Sector (Surpac (Very Good control), Minesched, Datamine Studio, Deswik, Model Maker CAO – DAO: AutoCAD-Covadis10.1 (Very good control- Civil AutoCAD 3D-Track 5.05, Revit Architecture 3D, Topocad
  • Cartography ( Agisoft Photoscan, ArcGIS, Map Source)
  • Surveying Background or product knowledge to surveying and knowledge in products(
    Total station: Leica TC305, 407, 805, TPS1100 and Trimble series.GPS: Topcon hyper VR – GR5, Leica GPS500 – 1200 and Altus GPS. Drone: EasyUAV Javelin X6; Phantom 4 – Mavic series and Ebee drone (RTK)Automatic and dumping levels)
  • Sales & Business Development Drive sales performance against set standards / targets Manage sales channels and partnerships, ensuring effective collaboration and optimal results and offering quality solutions to meet customer needs by conducting proper research and addressing the customers pain points.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience having worked in the Mining Industry as well as qualifications in surveying qualification or equivalent experience. SENIOR TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

  • Must be fluent in French, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with local clients.
  • Have qualifications in MINING/ SURVEYING/CATOGRAPHY
  • Must be proficient in English to engage with international partners and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal & non-verbal).
  • Understanding of industry/ applications/ solutions/ customer requirements.
  • Understanding of sales best practices.
  • IT proficiency (Knowledge of CRM software & Microsoft office).
  • Conceptual ability to analyse, interpret & offer customised solutions.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Accountability/ Integrity in sales, expense & delegation issues.
  • Reliability regarding services offered/ promised to customers.
  • Valid driver’s license and a Car.
  • Valid citizenship in country
